Sarraute continue la recherche de l&#8217;auteur sur l&#8217;int\u00e9riorit\u00e9 humaine et sa condition, comme elle l&#8217;a d\u00e9finie, tropismique. Enti\u00e8rement dialogue, le roman se caract\u00e9rise par la mise en sc\u00e8ne d&#8217;une conscience fragment\u00e9e en une infinit\u00e9 de parcelles qui essaient de comprendre les m\u00e9canismes de l&#8217;amour de soi, et il donne un relief particulier \u00e0 un probl\u00e8me pronominal: comment dire simplement je lorsqu&#8217;on est, int\u00e9rieurement, une pluralit\u00e9? Cette \u00e9tude met en relation les donn\u00e9es du roman concernant ce probl\u00e8me avec les conceptions d&#8217;E. Benveniste d&#8217;un fondement linguistique de la subjectivit\u00e9, puis avec les th\u00e9ories s\u00e9miologiques de la d\u00e9signation du personnage, sans oublier de s&#8217;appuyer sur la vision sarrautienne de l&#8217;homme et sur le personnage qui lui correspond. Il en r\u00e9sulte la mise en \u00e9vidence de ce qu&#8217;on peut appeler un trompe-l\u2019\u0153il pronominal.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Francesco Benozzo<\/strong>,\u00a0Per la storia di un <em>topos\u00a0<\/em>del ciclo bretone: il combattimento in incognito di Tristano e Lancillotto<br \/>\nLe combat entre Tristan et Lancelot, qui est pr\u00e9sent dans plusieurs textes du cycle breton, peut \u00eatre consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme un\u00a0<em>topos<\/em>arthurien. L&#8217;analyse d\u00e9taill\u00e9e des t\u00e9moins diff\u00e9rents qui content le duel entre les deux h\u00e9ros,\u00a0 permet de reconna\u00eetre deux familles de r\u00e9dactions sur la base de la topographie romanesque: une famille cimrique relative au Logres et une comique relative a Tintagel. En ce qui concerne le groupe cornique, dans le\u00a0<em>Tristan et Lancelot<\/em>\u00a0de Pierre Sala on trouve des r\u00e9f\u00e9rences \u00e0 des versions perdues dont on a trace aussi dans\u00a0la\u00a0Tavola Ritonda\u00a0et dans le\u00a0<em>Cantare di Tristano e Lancillotto<\/em>. Cette consid\u00e9ration implique des cons\u00e9quences remarquables pour l&#8217;histoire et la diffusion des textes arthuriens fran\u00e7ais en Italie, et elle modifie certaines opinions consolid\u00e9es \u00e0 propos de la production chevaleresque italienne m\u00eame.<\/p>\n<p><strong>L\u00e9on-Fran\u00e7ois Hoffmann<\/strong>,\u00a0Victor Hugo, les noirs et l\u2019esclavage<br \/>\nLa lecture syst\u00e9matique de <em>Bug-Jargal<\/em> et d\u2019autres textes o\u00f9 Hugo fait figurer des personnes ou des personnages noirs, ainsi que de ceux qui refl\u00e8tent son attitude envers le peuple noir, indique que Hugo partageait les pr\u00e9jug\u00e9s raciaux de ses contemporains\u00a0: implicitement, et parfois explicitement, il jugeait les Noirs inf\u00e9rieurs aux Blancs. Qui plus est, Victor Hugo ne s\u2019est jamais \u00e9lev\u00e9 avant 1851 contre l\u2019esclavage des Noirs. Il ne prit aucune part au combat men\u00e9 pendant la Restauration et la Monarchie de Juillet qui mena \u00e0 l\u2019abolition de l\u2019esclavage par le gouvernement provisoire de la deuxi\u00e8me r\u00e9publique en 1848.
