Rousseau linguiste<br \/>\nRousseau a au moins deux conceptions de la langue. Tant\u00f4t, la langue est un ensemble de signaux avec lesquels l&#8217;homme fait conna\u00eetre ses besoins et ses sentiments: conception s\u00e9miologique. Tant\u00f4t, la langue est faite de cat\u00e9gories abstraites, de m\u00e9canismes intellectuels complexes, de pens\u00e9e. La conception s\u00e9miologique ne lui permet pas de rendre compte de la grammaire ou du discours, par exemple, de sorte que sur plusieurs questions, il avoue son embarras. Pour un linguiste ou un s\u00e9miologue, la r\u00e9flexion de Rousseau est pr\u00e9-scientifique. Elle n&#8217;en a pas moins le m\u00e9rite de soulever des probl\u00e8mes relatifs aux signes, \u00e0 la grammaire, aux rapports entre la pens\u00e9e et le langage, \u00e0 la tr\u00e8s ancienne culture linguistique de l&#8217;Occident.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jacques-Philippe Saint G\u00e9rand<\/strong>, <em>Un roman pour les cuisini\u00e8res <\/em>d\u2019Emile Cabanon: la recette de l\u2019oubli&#8230;\u00a0en 1834<br \/>\nPrendre int\u00e9r\u00eat aux textes aujourd&#8217;hui oubli\u00e9s de la litt\u00e9rature ne rel\u00e8ve pas d&#8217;une curiosit\u00e9 encyclop\u00e9dique gratuite, mais du d\u00e9sir de comprendre l&#8217;arch\u00e9ologie de l&#8217;institution litt\u00e9raire. L&#8217;\u00e9tude du texte d&#8217;Emile Cabanon,\u00a0<em>Un Roman pour les Cuisini\u00e8res<\/em>(1834),\u00a0donne ainsi l&#8217;occasion de consid\u00e9rer quelques aspects de l&#8217;esth\u00e9tique romanesque \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9poque romantique. L&#8217;analyse pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e se d\u00e9veloppe selon les mod\u00e8les de la stylistique et de la po\u00e9tique; elle permet de mettre en valeur la contestation moderne des diff\u00e9rents genres envisageables comme formes d&#8217;\u00e9criture litt\u00e9raires (th\u00e9\u00e2tre, po\u00e9sie, r\u00e9cit, nouvelle), l&#8217;inversion des rapports pr\u00e9con\u00e7us de la vie et de la litt\u00e9rature, les curiosit\u00e9s d&#8217;une \u00e9criture d\u00e9routante (anglicismes lexicaux et syntaxiques, effets de saturation et de d\u00e9valuation s\u00e9mantiques).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Anne-Marie Soucy<\/strong>, Baudelaire\u2019s Prose Poem<br \/>\nLes r\u00e9flexions de Baudelaire sur ce qu&#8217;il appelle, par une formule paradoxale, \u00ab la m\u00e9moire du pr\u00e9sent \u00bb, nous conduisent au c\u0153ur m\u00eame du probl\u00e8me que la critique d\u00e9constructive a choisi de consid\u00e9rer comme fondamental pour l&#8217;interpr\u00e9tation du po\u00e8me en prose baudelairien. Dans cette optique, la \u00ab r\u00e9volution \u00bb pratiqu\u00e9e par Baudelaire dans ses\u00a0<em>Petits po\u00e8mes en prose<\/em>\u00a0(avec son usage ironique du langage r\u00e9volutionnaire: Libert\u00e9, Egalit\u00e9, Fraternit\u00e9) touche non seulement au plan de la rh\u00e9torique mais aussi \u00e0 celui de l&#8217;id\u00e9ologie.<\/p>\n<p><strong>L<\/strong><strong>ise Ouellet<\/strong>,\u00a0Le<em> Journal d\u2019Henriette Dessaulles <\/em>ou le\u00a0roman du \u00abje\u00bb sp\u00e9culaire au \u00abje\u00bb social<br \/>\nLe journal d&#8217;Henriette Dessaulles (1874-1880), jeune fille appartenant \u00e0 la haute bourgeoisie canadienne-fran\u00e7aise, retrace les menus \u00e9v\u00e9nements qui marquent son quotidien entre l&#8217;\u00e2ge de quatorze et de vingt ans. Secr\u00e8te et transitoire, l&#8217;\u00e9criture du journal intime chez H. Dessaulles appara\u00eet comme le lieu de naissance d&#8217;une identit\u00e9 nouvelle.
