Grammar, cognition and computation<\/b>\u201d<\/h2>\n<p>MMM celebrates its 10th meeting with\u00a0a look at\u00a0the present and future of morphology. <i>How\u00a0has the field evolved over the last years?\u00a0Where do we stand now?<\/i>\u00a0And, most importantly,\u00a0<i>where do we go from here<\/i>? We welcome contributions that explore new\u00a0empirical\u00a0and methodological directions in morphology, especially in the following domains:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; <b>Morphology and grammar<\/b>: what is (or should be) the place of morphology in linguistic theory? How do we face well-known challenges to foundational issues such as the notion of word, the Lexical Integrity Hypothesis, or the universality of lexical\/grammatical categories?<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; <b>Morphology and cognition<\/b>: what can morphology tell us about the mind and language acquisition?\u00a0How can we reconcile morphological theory and\u00a0experimental research? What can morphology learn from the other cognitive sciences?<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; <b>Morphology and computation<\/b>: what\u00a0are\u00a0the new frontiers\u00a0for computational approaches to morphology? How is the \u201cbig-data effect\u201d affecting morphological research \/ theory?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Following the MMM tradition, beside the Thematic session (&#8220;Quo vadis&#8221;), there will be a Free\u00a0topic session that\u00a0welcomes\u00a0all kinds of contributions on morphology and related disciplines.<\/p>\n<p>We explicitly welcome contributions on <b>sign languages<\/b>, which show how morphology in an alternative natural language modality may shed light on morphology in general.<\/p>\n<p><b>Invited speakers<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Stephen R.
